Pebley Beach's fleet sales executive is UK's first Hyundai Business Professional
A fleet sales executive at Pebley Beach Hyundai in Swindon has become the first in the UK to become a fully accredited Hyundai Business Professional.
Helen Russell offers expert guidance to business customers based on their individual needs when choosing their next vehicles.
To become a fully accredited Hyundai Business Professional, Helen undertook specialist training and underwent a rigorous assessment to demonstrate her understanding of all aspects of fleet operations.
Last summer, Pebley Beach was named as one of just 27 Hyundai dealerships in the country to be accredited as a Fleet Business Centre.
It serves a wide geographical area, following the M4 corridor from the Welsh border into Greater London.
As a Fleet Specialist, Pebley Beach offers a number of additional services to business customers, and aims to deliver competitive purchase deals and contract hire rates for SMEs with fleets of any size.
Hyundai was the fastest growing fleet manufacturer in 2012: almost half (47 percent) of the brand's registrations were classified as fleet. All Hyundai fleet cars offer a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, low CO2 emission products, competitive Total Cost of Ownership and residual value solutions.
Managing director Dominic Threlfall said: "We are thrilled that Helen is the first Hyundai Business Professional in the UK to become fully accredited.
"Business owners and fleet managers can be assured that they will receive the very best advice - tailored to their own company needs - when they come to Pebley Beach."
Pebley also offers a grey fleet maintenance service - helping firms whose employees use private cars for company business stay within the law.
"If you pay your employees a mileage allowance to use their own car for company business, you have a legal duty under the Road Safety Act 2006 to ensure that car is roadworthy," said Dom.
"An accident could result in your company being sued and, in a worst case scenario, facing a charge of corporate manslaughter.
A recent Pebley Beach survey at one large Swindon company found a staggering 86 percent of private cars used for company business had defects. Forty-eight percent were in urgent need of attention, or in a dangerous state.
