Christmas means saints and babies at Pebley Beach Cirencester
Nothing says Christmas like saints and babies – and staff at Pebley Beach in Cirencester are enjoying both, thanks to service manager Chris Maidment.
This month Chris and his wife Gemma welcomed baby Daisy – a sister for seven-year-old Olivia – into the world.
And in the same month, Chris was beatified by motor manufacturer Suzuki, for whom Pebley Beach is the franchise holder in the Cotswolds.
Suzuki Sainthood is bestowed on no more than two or three individuals working for or on behalf of the marque a quarter, nationwide.
To become a Suzuki Saint, an individual must show dedication to the Suzuki customer service experience above and beyond the call of duty.
For Chris, the process started with an unexpected written testimonial from a longstanding customer. The letter crossed the desk of general manager Will Larmour, who passed it on to Suzuki HQ in Milton Keynes for consideration.
Chris had Suzuki Sainthood conferred on him by Suzuki GB regional aftersales manager Steve Mein during a brief ceremony at the Pebley Beach showroom.
“It’s a real honour,” said Chris, who lives in Stratton, Swindon and has worked for Pebley Beach for four years. “Although really it was just for providing excellent customer service, which is what we all strive to deliver here every day.”
